BRAND NAME:

"Chaongke" is a playful fusion of "Chao" meaning Chinese fried rice and the term "chongke," associated with cannabis, creating a legal and harmless culinary experience. It aims to convey the exceptionally delicious and addictive nature of the dish, mimicking the allure of cannabis in a positive and gastronomic manner. By associating the fried rice with the notion of addiction, albeit lightheartedly, "Chaongke" positions itself as a must-try culinary delight that promises to leave a lasting impression on diners and keep them coming back for more. Ultimately, it showcases the power of food to captivate and delight the senses with a unique twist on a classic dish.

The primary goal of Entrepreneur's product, Chaongke, is to offer a unique and savory culinary experience that seamlessly blends the rich culinary traditions of Chinese and Filipino cuisines. To provide customers with a chaofan that meets their needs while staying within their budget. The aspiration is to create a product that not only satisfies their needs but also makes them feel satisfied with its quality. This entails creating a chaofan that differentiates itself in the market and creates connections with consumers through innovation. The goal is to build loyalty and trust that goes well beyond the point of sale, aiming to provide customers with an amazing experience from the time they first see the chaofan itself until they consume it.





2. Crafting Identity:

Exploring the symbolism behind CHAONGKE's logo and dissecting its elements to understand how it embodies the brand's essence and promises a Chao-Sarap adventure. BRAND LOGO:

  • The overall meaning of the elements in the logo captures the essence of Chinese culinary heritage, prosperity, and appetizing aromas. The rice box package and soda represent traditional cuisine and refreshment, while the Chinese gold coins symbolize wealth and success. The golden smoke or cloud evokes the irresistible aroma of freshly cooked fried rice, enticing customers to indulge in the delicious offerings of the business. Together, these elements convey a message of cultural authenticity, prosperity, and culinary delight.

In Chinese culture, these colors hold significant symbolism and are often used to represent prosperity, happiness, and good fortune. Red is particularly auspicious and is commonly seen during celebrations and festivals. Yellow, on the other hand, symbolizes royalty and power.


Furthermore, the combination of red and yellow evokes the taste buds and stimulates the appetite, making it ideal for a food-related business such as ours. Additionally, orange, a blend of red and yellow, is also utilized in our brand as it naturally lends itself to food and adds another appetizing dimension.


Considering the fast-food industry's success with this color combination, it reinforces our decision to use it for our brand. By incorporating these colors, we aim to not only align with Chinese cultural symbolism but also to effectively capture attention, stimulate appetite, and convey a sense of prosperity and happiness associated with our cuisine.

Ka-Chow, the embodiment of excitement and satisfaction, is our cheerful rice box packaging mascot. With "Ka" representing the joyous energy and "Chow" symbolizing the essence of food or meal in Chinese, Ka-Chow brings the promise of deliciousness and fulfillment to our customers.


Sip-epe, our bubbly soda cup mascot, is here to quench your thirst and add a refreshing touch to your dining experience. With "Sip" evoking the action of sipping through a straw and "epe" conveying a deep desire or thirst in Chinese, Sip-epe embodies the essence of enjoyment and refreshment, ensuring every sip is a delightful experience.


Together, Ka-Chow and Sip-epe epitomize the essence of our brand, offering not just food and drink, but a vibrant and satisfying dining adventure for our valued customers.

Throughout March 2024, our team embarked on an exciting journey of culinary exploration and entrepreneurial experimentation. Fueled by our passion for innovation and guided by our entrepreneurship principles, we set out to create something truly special. Little did we know that our venture would lead us to develop PATCHAO and SPARKLE – two unique products that embody creativity, flavor, and entrepreneurial spirit.


PATCHAO combines "PAT" (Banana Blossom Patty) and "CHAO" (Chinese Fried Rice), blending tradition and innovation. Inspired by the versatility of banana blossom, we crafted a patty that honors our cultural roots. Paired with the aromatic flavors of Chinese fried rice, PATCHAO offers a culinary experience like no other – a symphony of flavors that leave a lasting impression.


But our journey didn't end with PATCHAO. In our pursuit of a complete dining experience, we created SPARKLE. Drawing from the vibrant flavors of the Philippines, we combined fresh calamansi extract with carbonated water to create a refreshing beverage that invigorates the spirit.


What sets PATCHAO and SPARKLE apart is not just their culinary excellence but also the entrepreneurial spirit behind them. From concept to execution, our journey was guided by a commitment to innovation and excellence. 5. Defending the Business Proposal:

Embarking on the journey of defending CHANGKE's business proposal, we delve into the strategic planning, market analysis, and financial projections that underpin its viability and potential for success in the competitive culinary landscape.


April 1, 2024, marked a significant milestone in our entrepreneurial journey – the defense of our Business Plan Proposal. With nerves tingling and determination in our hearts, we stepped into the multi-purpose hall ready to showcase our hard work and dedication.


The defense was a whirlwind of presentations, questions, and discussions. We stood before the panel, armed with our paper and our product, PATCHAO and SPARKLE. Despite a few comments and recommendations, we emerged victorious, having successfully defended our vision for our business.


Now, with the defense behind us, our focus shifts to the next phase of our journey: the Entrepreneurial Bazaar. Scheduled to take place from late April to early May, the bazaar presents an exciting opportunity for us to bring PATCHAO and SPARKLE to the masses.


As we prepare for the bazaar, anticipation runs high. We're fine-tuning our product presentation, heeding the feedback received during the defense to make necessary improvements. Our goal is clear: to showcase PATCHAO and SPARKLE in the best possible light and capture the interest of potential customers.


But beyond the logistics of the bazaar, there's a sense of excitement and pride in how far we've come. From the initial ideation phase to the defense of our business plan, every step of this journey has been a testament to our passion, perseverance, and teamwork.


As we gear up for the entrepreneurial bazaar, we do so with confidence, knowing that we've laid a strong foundation for success. With PATCHAO and SPARKLE leading the way, we're ready to take on whatever challenges and opportunities lie ahead.


6. Crafting the Commercial:

Peering behind the scenes of CHAONGKE's commercial production, we uncover the creative process of translating the brand's essence into captivating visuals and narratives that entice and captivate audiences, all while staying true to the Chao-Sarap promise


On April 3, 2024, our entrepreneurial journey took us to the vibrant streets of Binondo, Manila – the heart of Chinatown – to shoot our business commercial. Nestled amidst the bustling atmosphere and rich cultural heritage, we embarked on a quest to capture the essence of our product: PATCHAO and SPARKLE.


Against the backdrop of iconic red and yellow Chinese decors and lamps, we meticulously crafted each shot to showcase the irresistible allure of our culinary creations. From close-ups of our delectable Banana Blossom Patty to refreshing glimpses of our SPARKLE drink, every frame exuded the essence of Chao-Sarap – our promise of mouthwatering satisfaction.


But it wasn't just about the product. To breathe life into our tagline, "Maaadik ka sa Chao-Sarap!" (You'll be addicted to the Chao-Sarap!), we enlisted the help of our talented leads. With infectious energy and enthusiasm, they brought our vision to life, embodying the sheer delight and satisfaction that come with every bite and sip of PATCHAO and SPARKLE.


As the night wore on, we immersed ourselves in the vibrant energy of Binondo, soaking in the sights and sounds of this cultural gem. And for our final shot, we decided to add a touch of flair – a lively dance intermission to cap off our commercial with a burst of energy and excitement.


By the time we wrapped up our shoot, it was already 11:30 PM. Exhausted but exhilarated, we headed home, our hearts full of anticipation for the commercial's debut. As we bid farewell to Binondo, we carried with us not just memories of a successful shoot, but also a deep appreciation for the rich tapestry of culture and tradition that surrounds us.

7. The Making of the Food Stall:

From blueprint to reality, witness the transformation of CHAONGKE's vision into a tangible, immersive experience as we document the meticulous planning, design considerations, and logistical challenges behind the creation of its iconic food stall—a beacon of Chao-Sarap delight in bustling culinary landscapes. Here is the proposed stall design meticulously crafted by yours truly, a manifestation of our dedication to encapsulate the essence of CHANGKE's Chao-Sarap experience. Every line, curve, and color scheme has been thoughtfully considered to ensure it not only catches the eye but also ignites the taste buds and captures the spirit of culinary adventure.


As we delved on the ambitious task of bringing CHANGKE's Chao-Sarap vision to life through our food stall, we encountered both challenges and triumphs along the way.


Starting from scratch, we seized the opportunity to repurpose a stall generously provided by a previous Grade 12 student who had also delved into the world of entrepreneurship. With this foundation, we set out to mold our own interpretation of Chao-Sarap excellence.


With a clear plan in mind, we meticulously crafted our stall, making strategic alterations to the original design to better suit our needs and capture the essence of CHANGKE. Despite the inevitable challenges, we persevered, pouring our passion and dedication into every detail.


As the project neared completion, we couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in what we had accomplished. Though there were moments of doubt, we held onto the belief that our efforts would ultimately prove beneficial for us and our community.


However, as fate would have it, unforeseen circumstances arose. The entrepreneurial bazaar, our anticipated platform for showcasing our creation, faced cancellation due to heat index concerns and time constraints within our academic year.


Nevertheless, amidst the disappointment, there remained a glimmer of hope. While the bazaar may not proceed as planned, the organizers have graciously decided to honor winners in each respective category, offering a beacon of recognition for our hard work.

As we await the outcome, we hold onto the belief in a fair and transparent judging process, trusting that our stall will be evaluated not just for its physical presence, but for the passion and creativity poured into its creation.

This prestigious award was presented to us on the 13th of May, 2024, at the Covered Court of Eusebio Senior High School in Rosario, Pasig City. Despite the unfortunate cancellation of the bazaar, this recognition is a testament to our dedication and passion.
